Privacy

Effective July 18, 2026. Poster is made by Terraform Records, LLC ("the house"), Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This page says what Poster collects, why, and what it will never do — in plain words, because you should not need a lawyer to read a privacy policy.

The short version

Poster exists to take the post you wrote and place it on the platforms you connected, when you press POST. It collects the minimum required to do that. It shows you no ads, sells nothing about you, and tracks you across nobody else's apps or websites.

What Poster collects

• Your account. You sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft. We receive your name and email address from the provider you choose. Poster never sees or stores a password.
• Your connections. When you connect a platform (X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads), authorization for that platform is held so Poster can post there on your instruction. You can disconnect any platform at any time inside the app.
• Your content. The words and media you compose exist to be posted. They are processed to shape the post for each platform and transmitted to the platforms you chose — only when you confirm.
• Usage counts and bug reports. Daily compose counts (to keep the free service running fairly) and anything you send through Report a Bug.

What Poster does with it

• Operates the service: signs you in, holds your connections, shapes your drafts, and delivers your posts where you tell it to.
• Nothing posts without your confirm. Ever. Drafts are drafts until you press POST.
• Fixes what breaks, using bug reports and usage signals.

Who touches the data (processors)

Poster runs on infrastructure from: Supabase (sign-in and database), Vercel (hosting), Postiz (delivery of posts to your connected platforms), and Anthropic (the composition service that shapes draft text — sent server-side, used to produce your draft, not to advertise to you). Each receives only what its job requires. The platforms you connect receive your posts because that is the point.

What Poster will never do

• No advertising, in the app or built on your data.
• No sale or rental of your personal information.
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
• No posting without your press of the button.

Retention and deletion

Your account, connections, and settings persist while you use Poster. Disconnecting a platform revokes Poster's path to it. To delete your account and its data, email media@terraform.page from your sign-in address; deletion is completed within 30 days and confirmed to you.

Children

Poster is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are stated in plain words at the top of this page.
